Our Remote-First Workplace
A ZechionMed work schedule that incorporates remote work. We have securely configured communication, collaboration, and business systems to help coordinate our work, keep us productive, and to support our clients.
Don't expect things to be different when we work from home. Don't expect things to be different when we work remotely.
We measure our performance by the quality of our service, task completion, our work together, and results, not on our location.
Communication and Collaboration
Communication is vital to a successful remote workplace.
Our staff are asked to:
Ensure good communications within agreed working hours.
Utilize business communications in a timely fashion.
Attend meetings and team talks.
Maintain project and workflow information.
Work effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients.
Take a proactive approach to communication when problems, delays, or needs for resources arise.
Appropriate digital communication and collaboration tools are used for day-to-day business and keeping people in line.
Accountability and Performance
All remote workers should act the same as those working in a traditional office with the same professionalism and responsibility.
Team members are responsible for:
The completion of assigned duties and/or products.
Fulfilling deadlines and expectations for performance.
Keeping accurate work records and record keeping.
Doing things by the book.
Reporting progress and difficulties in an appropriate way.
Providing a professional working atmosphere.
Responsibility of protecting company and client data.
Flexibility is a great thing with remote working, but there is a downside, as they must take charge themselves and be consistent with their responsibilities.
Maintaining data security and confidentiality. Ensuring the security and confidentiality of data.
As ZechionMed supports healthcare organizations, it is our responsibility to ensure confidential information is protected, which is a fundamental part of our remote workplace.
Team members will adhere to any applicable company security procedures and will maintain appropriate safeguards when accessing company, client, or patient-related information.
Individuals who are involved in the team can be expected to:
Utilize authorized systems and applications.
Protect account credentials and authentication information.
Connect to safe internet and network connections.
Maintain appropriate device security.
Keep the access to company information away from those who aren't authorized.
Don't use unauthorized services or devices to store confidential information.
Abide by privacy, security, and data handling laws/regulations.
Report any attempted or actual security breaches or unauthorized access as soon as they are suspected.
When working remotely from shared or public spaces, remote workers need to be extra careful to make sure that they are not subject to unauthorized viewing, disclosure, or access to confidential information.
Healthcare Information Protection
ZechionMed's remote environment is conceived with healthcare operations confidentiality and security requirements at heart.
Any employee with access to or handling of protected health information (PHI), patient information, or other confidential healthcare information shall abide by any company policies and contractual obligations and relevant privacy and security requirements.
Sensitive information should not be given to other than those authorized and should only be used for business purposes.
Technology and Equipment
ZechionMed may supply or arrange technology, systems, software, and equipment that are required for employees to carry out their duties remotely.
Employees should:
Utilize company-approved technology and software when necessary.
Maintain devices and software properly updated.
Secure the company's property against misuse, theft, or loss.
Adhere to company access-control and security needs.
Report technical or security problems ASAP.
Responsibly and appropriately use company systems for business purposes.
A professional environment for working remotely.
Staff are expected to ensure a workplace is conducive to productivity, professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication.
When job duties involve confidential communications, meetings, or access to sensitive information, staff should have access to a workplace environment that, reasonably, prevents access to or disclosure of that information.
The Flexibility of the Company and Their Needs
ZechionMed's model is remote-first, but some roles, meetings, training activities, client needs, business operations, and/or organizational needs may necessitate specific schedules, availabilities, and/or require occasional in-person participation.
Working remotely may then be different dependent on tasks, team needs, client obligations, and business obligations.
Continuous Improvement
ZechionMed continually reviews their processes, technology, security, and collaboration strategies to enhance the remote employee experience and ensure successful business operations.
We solicit constructive input from team members to explore ways of enhancing communication, working practices, technology, and collaboration.
Our Commitment
ZechionMed is convinced that trust, accountability, communication, security, and results are the key components of a healthy home environment.
With our remote-first approach, we connect with experts from any location without compromising on the expertise that we need to provide our clients, in healthcare organizations, in a responsible and efficient way.
ZechionMed is dedicated to creating a professional, secure, collaborative, and results-driven remote environment.
